Jason Yang

Jason Yang has a strong professional foundation in Western medicine and hands-on pain therapy. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine and postgraduate studies in Anatomy, he spent eight years working in clinical anaesthesia and pain management, developing a solid understanding of human structure, pain mechanisms, and functional assessment.

After personally struggling with severe cervical spine problems, Jason devoted himself to the study of pain relief and integrative natural therapy. In 2012, he undertook further training in orthopaedic manual therapy and spinal adjustment at the Department of Rehabilitation, Guangzhou Military General Hospital, where he studied under respected experts including Professor Long Zenghua and Professor Duan Ruifeng. From 2013 onward, he continued systematic training in sports rehabilitation, muscle therapy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques, including traditional musculoskeletal manual therapy, meridian-based therapy, acupuncture, acupotomy, and herbal medicine. Over more than a decade, he has remained focused on understanding the underlying mechanisms of pain and has developed a broad, integrative approach that combines Chinese and Western methods for pain relief, bodywork, and recovery support.

After moving to Australia, Jason obtained his Diploma of Remedial Massage and completed further training in Dry Needling. He is experienced in supporting clients with common concerns such as neck and shoulder tension, lower back discomfort, joint stiffness, muscular tightness, and posture-related pain.

Before relocating to Australia, Jason operated his own pain treatment clinic in China. He was also appointed by the China Acupuncture and Tuina Association as a Lecturer in Manual Pain Therapy, delivering training programs across China, and conducted multiple manual pain therapy courses through the Haichuan Medical Association.

Jason’s approach is practical, targeted, and holistic. Rather than focusing only on the area of discomfort, he works from a broader understanding of body structure, muscle condition, joint mobility, and overall balance to provide more effective remedial massage and pain management support.

Our Therapies

Focused, deep-tissue work to relieve chronic muscle tension and aid in recovery (Health fund rebates may apply).

Traditional Chinese medicine practices to harmonise energy and promote the body’s natural healing.

Customised manual treatments for deep relaxation and release.

Specialised treatments focusing on pressure points to restore energy flow throughout the body.

An ancient technique used to release muscular tension and improve local circulation.

Chinese massage, or Tui Na, is a fair dinkum ancient therapy that focuses on unblocking your "Qi" to get your body’s energy flowing properly again.

It’s heaps more than just a relaxing rub, using firm techniques like kneading and rolling to sort out your muscles and hit those specific pressure points.

Whether you’re feeling a bit crook or just totally knackered, it’s a top-notch way to balance your system and leave you feeling as good as gold.
